15 families moved due to landslide threat

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Fifteen families living in close proximity to the Karadiyana Waste Dump were evacuated from the area due to a threat of landslides. Director of the Western Province Waste Management Authority, Nalin Mannapperuma noted that the families were moved following the instructions given by the National Building Research Organization.
