Protest in Karandeniya demanding fair Cinnamon price

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A group of people staged a protest in Mahaedanda junction on the Elpitiya-Ambalangoda main route demanding a price increase for cinnamon. The protestors claimed that they are inconvenienced as they do not have a fair price for cinnamon in the market. The News 1st correspondent said that there was traffic congestion in the area due to the protest.
