A hint on the UNP Presidential candidate

COLOMBO (News 1st): Speaking at an event held in Kahawatta yesterday (June 20), Minister Thalatha Athukorale said that they are all anticipating that Sajith Premadasa will emerge as the next president. She continued to say that no one should hold any doubts on the matter since it will happen for sure. The Minister continued to say that the candidate who they put forward from their party will be someone who works for the people and understands the poor. She made a request of the people to not underestimate the ongoing government till Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe gives his blessings and the opportunity for Sajith Premadasa to proceed as the leader.
