Cabinet convenes today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Cabinet meeting is scheduled to be held today(June 18). Minister of Lands and Parliamentary Reforms and Chief Government Whip, Gayantha Karunathilaka noted that the Cabinet meeting will take place at the Presidential Secretariat at 9.30 am this morning. He added that all cabinet members are expected to participate in the meeting. Last week's Cabinet meeting was postponed owing to a dispute with regard to the Special Parliamentary Select Committee appointed to probe the 04/21 terror attacks.
