Over 30 grams of heroin seized during raids

Colombo (News 1st): During raids carried out in several parts of the Island the police seized over 30 grams of Heroin and have arrested 3 people in connection to it. Police said the raids were carried out in Malwaththa, Peliyagoda and Kahatagasdiliya. The suspect arrested in Malwaththa, Kotahena was in possession of 21 grams and 900 milligrams of heroin. He is a 55-year-old resident of Colombo 12. During raids conducted in Peliyagoda, police arrested a suspect with 5 grams and 300 milligrams of Heroin. He is a 41-year-old resident of Colombo 14. Meanwhile,  a 22-year-old was arrested in Kahatagasdiliya while in possession of 5 grams and 300 milligrams of heroin.
