COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Department of Fisheries noted that five fishermen who were in the custody of Pakistan security officials have been released. The fishermen had left the Mirissa coast for fishing on March 26th.

Assistant Director of the Search Operations Unit at the Department of Fisheries, Padmapriya Tissera noted that the fishermen are to reach Sri Lanka within the next two days.
