Dambulla residents take to the streets against Kurunegala doctor

COLOMBO (News 1st): A protest is currently underway opposite the Dambulla base hospital against Dr Seigu Shiyabdeen Mohomad Safi. News 1st correspondent of the area reported that the protest is held obstructing one lane of the A9 route. The protest is held by the many voluntary organizations including the Rangiri Dambulu protection organization. The protesters urge that the law be implemented against Dr Safi of the Kurunegala teaching hospital who was accused of illegal sterilization procedures.
