Showers or thundershowers in several provinces today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Met Department declares that existing showery condition is expected to enhance to some extent over the south-western part of the island during today and tomorrow (29^th and 30^th of May). Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-Western province. Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Uva province and in Batticaloa and Ampara districts after 2.00 p.m. Fairly heavy falls about 100 mm can be expected in some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle and Matara districts. There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers.
