Search operation 05/28: 29 suspects arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Twenty-nine people were arrested as a result of islandwide search operations conducted yesterday(May 28). Sri Lanka Army Media Spokesperson Brigadier Sumith Atapattu said that the suspects were arrested during the search operations conducted along with the Police. According to the Sri Lanka Army, 13 people from the Gampaha district were arrested. Seven people from different areas in the Colombo district, two persons from Kurunegala and 7  individuals from the Kalutara districts were arrested.
