Issue of explosives resumed upon President's instructions

Colombo (News 1st): The issuance of explosive material, temporarily suspended by the Security Council due to the situation in the country, resumed upon the instructions of the President. The media centre of the Ministry of Defence said commercial explosives, firearms and ammunition will be released to public and private institutions aiming to conduct projects for government agencies based on the permits issued by the District Secretary on the quantity required.
