73 RPG boosters and over 1000 bullet casings found in Polonnaruwa

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Seventy-three (73) RPG boosters and two swords which were disposed of were seized by the Sri Lanka Army and Police from a canal close to a colony in Kaduruwela, Polonnaruwa. Authorities stated the items were placed inside two fertilizer sacks and were dumped in the canal. Meanwhile, security forces today(May 19) seized over 1000 empty bullet casings under the Karandawila bridge in Dummalasooriya. Police added that a majority of the empty casings were compatible with automatic rifles.
