COLOMBO (News 1st): The Police Special Task Force has discovered a variety of items in raids conducted islandwide.

Beruwela

Three people have been arrested in a raid carried out in Beruwela by the officers of the Aluthgama unit of the Police Special Task Force. They have been handed over to the Beruwala police for further investigations. Meanwhile, five rounds of ammunition used for shot guns were discovered by the STF along the roadside in Beruwela.

Kekirawa

Several types of ammunition were discovered in a raid carried out near the Dambulu Oya.

Vavunathivu

In a raid carried out by the officers of the Vavunathivu unit of the police special task force, a suspect was arrested along with six G.P.S.tracking devices. He has been handed over to the Kattankudy police for further investigations.
