CBSL begins assessing damage caused to economy by terror attack

Colombo (News1st) - The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has commenced a study into the damage caused to the economy by the April 21st attacks. Non-Cabinet Minister of Economic Reforms and Public Distribution Dr. Harsha De Silva said that the short and long term effects on the economy will be identified separately. The Minister said that the field of tourism has suffered the worst impact due to the terror attacks. The final report on the country's economy restoration will be released in the near future.
