NIC number, home address to be printed on census documents

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Acting Director General of the National Elections Commission, Rasika Peiris, said that the collection of census documents from households will commence from June 2nd. He further added that steps will be taken to print census documents with the name, NIC number and the residential address for the convenience of the public. He added that if the new method proves to be successful, it is to be introduced to every election in the future.
