15 year old elephant killed in train accident

COLOMBO (News 1st) - An elephant died in a train accident between Gal Oya and Hingurakgoda. The railway control room stated that a train traveling from Colombo Fort to Batticaloa had hit the elephant assumed to be 15 years of age. The control room added that the accident caused no damages to the train.
