COLOMBO (News 1st) – Colombo Chief Magistrate, Lanka Jayaratna ordered the court to decide whether the case against former state minister, Johnston Fernando, and three others is to be dropped or not on June 4th.

This order was given based on the request by the defence.

The case against Johnston Fernando was regarding the employment of 153 employees at “Sathosa” as a part of his political campaign activities between 2010-2015.

Two other defendants of the case are former CWE Chairman, Eraj Priyantha Fernando, and Operations Director Mohideen Kaja Mohommed.
