2 dead in Kottawa head on collision

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Two individuals died in a road accident that occurred in Mahalwarawa area in Kottawa this morning. The police stated the accident was a result of a head-on collision between a Jeep and an SLTB Bus. Five passengers in the Jeep had sustained injuries. According to the police, two of them succumbed to their injuries following the admission to Homagama hospital. The deceased were 33 and 36-year-old residents of Meegoda.
