11 malaria patients detected this year

COLOMBO (News 1st): The health sector states that 11 malaria patients have been identified this year. Director General of the Anti-Malaria Campaign Dr Hemantha Herath said that the patients, mostly Sri Lankans had arrived from overseas. He added that although the country is free of malaria that they are constantly vigilant of any threats due to the disease.
