Police hunt suspects who set a boy on fire

Colombo (News 1st): Police are pursuing several leads to arrest suspects connected to a heinous crime of seriously injuring a 12-year-old boy by setting him on fire while he was asleep at home in Urubokka. A grade 07 boy was set on fire early last morning. He is currently being treated at the Intensive Care Unit of the Embilipitiya District General Hospital. Police said the boy's parents are divorced and he was living with his father and step-mother. According to Police, the step-mother had filed a complaint claiming a person had entered the house and set fire to the boy when he was sleeping.
