Measures to strengthen security at Parliament

Colombo (News 1st): The speaker announced in parliament today that measures have been taken to strengthen security at the parliamentary complex. He noted that as per intelligence reports the parliament is faced with serious security threats and it has been decided that all steps will be taken to tighten security at the parliamentary complex. The speaker noted that he has ordered the sergeant-at-arms to take steps to strengthen security at the parliamentary complex and steps will be taken to post and email all required documents and today the documents have been placed on the tables of all MPs.
