Youth arrested with 4.35 kilos of Kerala ganja

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A suspect was arrested in Kalpitiya for the possession of 4.25 kilos of Kerala ganja. The 22-year-old suspect a resident of Kalpitiya was arrested in a raid carried out by the officers attached to the North Western Naval Command. The suspect and the stock of Kerala Ganja were handed over to the Kalpitiya Police for further investigations. Meanwhile, three Bangladeshi nationals who were staying on the island without visas have been arrested in the Kelanimulla, Mulleriyawa. The police stated they were 12, 18 and 28 years old.
