COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Police has requested the general public to hand over swords, daggers and clothing resembling military uniforms to the nearest police station today (May 04) and tomorrow (May 05).

According to Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara, this is not applicable to those with a valid licence to hold such swords, machetes and military uniforms.
