Court grants permission to detain and interrogate 2 NTJ suspects

Colombo (News 1st): Court granted the Western Province Intelligence Bureau permission to detain and interrogate for a period of 90 days the two activists of the now-banned National Thawheed Jamaath. They were arrested at Messenger Street, Kotahena on the 30th of April for the possession of CDs containing extremist content, walkie talkies, laptop computers and other banned material.
