COLOMBO (News 1st) – A suspicious van has been seized by the Police, in the Ihala Puliyankulama area in Maradankadawala, Kekirawa.

Police added that the van is believed to have been used to transport people connected to the Kalmunai explosion.

The van which bears the registration number 250 – 5680 has been taken into Police custody and the owner of the van has been arrested.

Further investigations are underway.
