No end to elephant threats in Hambantota

Colombo (News 1st ) - There's no end to the elephant threat in Hambantota. Villagers are continuing to face difficulties due to constant elephant threats. Our correspondent stated that the locals in Siribopura are threatened by the 5 elephants roaming in the area. The wild elephants have also destroyed the cultivations in the area. Recently the elephants attacked a reception hall. The Hambantota wildlife officers took steps to chase the elephants back to the reserve.
