Associate of Easter bomber arrested in Kalmunai

Colombo (Colombo) - A close affiliate of Easter bomber Zahran Hashmi was arrested during a raid in the Maradamune area in Kalmunai. According to the Police STF, the suspect was in possession of what is believed to be 3 religious books, several sim cards, a mobile phone, and several other items at the time of the arrest. The suspect has been handed over to the Colombo Crimes Division for further interrogation. The STF also noted that they were able to nab a suspect who was assisting in distributing IS related materials via mobile phones, following a raid conducted in Ampara.
