COLOMBO (News 1st) – Experts into the terrorist investigation sphere state, stern action must be taken against all active radical organizations, in order to eradicate terrorism from the country.
Professor of Security Studies at the Nanyang Technology University in Singapore, Dr Rohan Gunaratne noted that new laws and regulations must be formulated to prevent foreign radical extremists from entering Sri Lanka.
He pointed out it was vital to strengthen the intelligence division of the country and evolve tactics and protocols according to the newer global threats.
Prof. Gunaratne further commented on the importance of allowing the security divisions to carry out their duties without any sort of interference.
