Five suspects arrested with a sword in Galle

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A search operation in Poddala, Galle has led to the arrest of five individuals. The police stated they believe the suspects were affiliated with religious extremist organizations. It was reported that the suspects had a sword in their possession at the time of their arrest. The suspects were arrested in a joint operation by STF and army personnel.
