Transfer of 12 senior police officers made today cancelled -NPC

Colombo (News 1st):  A decision has been reached by the National Police Commission (NPC) to cancel the transfers of the 12 senior police officers made today (April 26). The NPC said that the decision was reached to avoid any obstruction being caused to the investigations of the committee appointed by the government. Earlier today the NPC announced that the transfers were made due to the prevailing requirements in the areas.
