2 arrested for attempting to conceal 2 firearms

Colombo (News 1st): Two people who attempted to conceal two firearms were arrested in Avukana, Galnewa. Police stated that the suspects were arrested last night (April 25) while they were attempting to hide the firearm in a marshy land behind the Police checkpoint area. Police seized 42 live ammunition that was in their possession. The suspects aged 42 and 48 are residents of Galkiriyagama. They are due to be produced before the Kekirawa Magistrate Court today (April 26).
