Sajith promises to rebuild St. Anthony's Church immediately

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Minister Sajith Premadasa visited the blast site at St. Anthony's Church, Kochchikade, Colombo 13 today(April 22). The Minister inspected the damaged church premises. The Minister later spoke to the media present at the scene. He noted that the Ministry of Cultural Affairs will commence rebuilding the sacred monument which is in ruins following the terrorist attack yesterday (April 21). The minister made a pledge to all the Catholic devotees across the country that he would reconstruct the holy place in no time for their religious purposes. He noted that following the investigations by the security forces they will commence rebuilding under the supervision of the Cardinal.
