SriLankan flight from Kuala Lumpur diverted to Mattala due to heavy rain

Colombo (News 1st): A SriLankan airlines aircraft flying from Kuala Lumpur to Katunayake was diverted to the Mattala airport due to heavy rain. The managing director of the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake said the aircraft was scheduled to land at Katunayake airport at 4.05 pm.
