Search continues for owner of Kolonnawa UC marijuana

Colombo (News 1st): According to the Police, an operation is underway to locate and arrest the main suspect connected to the discovery of a consignment of marijuana from the premises of the Kolonnawa Urban Council. On April 13th, three people including a technician were arrested inside the Resident Technicians Room in the Kolonnawa Urban Council for the possession of 30 grams of marijuana. Thereafter, following a search of the room another 03 kilograms and 372 grams of Marijuana and 39 grams of a controlled substance known as ICE were discovered by Police. The arrested suspects were produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court and remanded until April 26th.
