Negligent driving causes accident in Hali Ela

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A car travelling from Badulla to Bandarawela and a three-wheeler travelling from Hali-Ela to Badulla collided head-on close to a fuel station in Hali-Ela at 7.30am today(April 18). Negligent driving caused the accident. Four individuals travelling in the three-wheeler were injured in the accident. According to the News 1st correspondent, the injured were admitted to the Badulla hospital by people who were in the vicinity. The Hali-Ela police have arrested the car driver and are currently conducting further investigations into the incident.
