Colombo (News 1st): The Excise Department arrested 110 people in raids carried out during the festive season targetting illegal liquor.

Excise Deputy Commissioner Kapila Kumarasinghe said, 1200 Excise personnel were dispatched on both the 13th and 14th of April to locate and raid establishments that sell liquor in violation of their licenses and for the sale of illicit liquor.
