Derailment causes delays on Northern railway line

Colombo (News1st) - The railway control room reports that a train has derailed along the northern railway line between Saliyapura and Parsangaswewa. The control room noted that the train in question was an express train traveling from Kankasanthurei to Beliatte. The derailment has caused delays on the northern railway line from Anuradhapura to Jaffna. Operations have begun to restore operations along the route.
