Arjuna Ranatunga: Those who tried to murder me are from pohotuwa

Colombo (News 1st): Minister Arjuna Ranatunga was questioned by the journalists regarding Vasudeva Nanayakkara's criticism of him. Vasudeva Nanayakkara convening a press briefing criticized the incident that took place at the CPC. Vasudeva noted that Minister Ranatunga tried to influence the court order. Responding to this Minister Arjuna Ranatunga noted that one thing he understood from that press briefing is that those who tried to murder him, are from pohotuwa. He noted that he remembers, when the incident took place, Gamini Lokuge arrived near the CPC, which means that an MP from the pohotuwa party was involved in the incident. The Minister noted that the pohotuwa party was also aware of the attempt to murder him. He wondered what they would do with power if things like this can be done without power. Minister Ranatunga hoped to conduct an in-depth investigation into this matter in the future.
