Tea pluckers hospitalized after wasp attack

Colombo (News 1st): Twenty-one estate workers in Dimbula, Hatton who were plucking tea have been rushed to the hospital around 11 am today (April 9) following a wasp attack. They work at Drayton Estate in Dimbula. News 1st correspondent in the area said 36 estate workers from the same estate were hospitalized last evening (April 8) following a wasp attack.
