2019 budget passed in Parliament

Colombo (News 1st): The final reading of the 2019 Budget was passed in Parliament today (April 05). 119 votes were cast in favour while 74 were cast against it. Members of the United National Party, as well as the TNA, voted in favour of the budget. 3 members of parliament abstained from voting. Members of the Joint opposition voted against the 2019 budget.
