Reuters – Pope Francis visited a centre for children in the Moroccan town of Temara on Sunday (March 31).

The Rural Centre for Social Services is run by a group of Spanish nuns and is aimed at helping children in education, preparing them for primary school.

Pope Francis is expected to meet with representatives of other Christian faiths at Saint Peter’s Cathedral in Rabat later on Sunday, where he will give a speech and conduct the Angelus prayer.

Pope Francis’s two-day trip is the first papal visit to Morocco in 34 years.
