Suspect who stabbed a police officer arrested in Nittambuwa

Colombo (News 1st): The suspect, who stabbed a police officer on March 27th, has been arrested in Ellakkala, Nittambuwa. Police noted that he was in possession of a live hand grenade at the time of the arrest. The 24-year-old suspect is due to be produced before the Attanagalla Magistrate Court today (March 30). The injured police officer is currently receiving treatment at the ICU of the Wathupitiwala Hospital.
