COLOMBO (News 1st) – The “Balamandala” meeting of the JVP for the Wennappuwa electorate was held in the Kirimatiyana area yesterday(March 27).

Tilvin Silva, General Secretary to JVP noted that both Maithripala Sirisena and Ranil Wickremesinghe are dreaming about becoming the president at the next presidential election. He said that another group is attempting to elect Gotabhaya Rajapaksa as the next president with the intention of getting rewarded with benefits and spending luxurious lives. He added that none of them are concerned about the people of this country and they are only worried about themselves.

He added that the JVP is prepared to support a candidate who wholeheartedly represents the people of the country. He finally added that both main parties won’t be able to win easily as they wish.
