Colombo (News 1st): The Meteorological Department has issued a Heat Index Advisory. The temperature felt on the human body is expected to increase up to ‘Extreme Caution’ level in most parts of North-Western Province, Mannar, Gampaha, Hambantota and Monaragala Districts tomorrow (March 29).

The Meteorological Department requests the public living in the respective areas to stay hydrated and to limit strenuous outdoor activities.
