Extreme heat expected in North-West, Mannar and Monaragala

Colombo (News 1st):  The Meteorological Department has issued a heat index advisory. It reads the temperature felt on the human body is expected to increase up to ‘Extreme Caution’ level in most parts of North-western Province and Mannar and Monaragala Districts during tomorrow (March 28). The Meteorological Department requests the public living in those respective areas to stay hydrated and to limit strenuous outdoor activities.
