Officers of International Narcotics Control Board to arrive in SL

Colombo (News 1st): An international team will arrive in the island tomorrow (March 25) to inquire into the eradication of the drug menace in the country. Officers of the International Narcotics Control Board will be in the country from the 25th to the 28th of this month. During their stay, they will meet with the top brass of the defence sector, politicians and a number of other stakeholders. According to police the operations to nab drug smugglers in the country was discussed at the Conference of the International Narcotics Control Board held from the 18th to the 22nd of this month in Vienna, Austria. The team of international experts will arrive in the country subsequent to these discussions.
