Tragic accident in Puttalam

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A tragic motor accident in the Naaga-willuwa area in Puttalam has claimed the lives of four and injured four others. Police stated that the accident occurred around 1.45 am this morning when a van travelling from Jaffna to Colombo carrying seven passengers collided with a lorry travelling in the opposite direction. The injured have been taken to the Puttalam Hospital for treatment. Two of the injured have been transferred to the National Hospital for further treatment.
