Man arrested with firearm in Middeniya

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A person has been arrested in Murungasyaya, Middeniya for the possession of a locally manufactured firearm. The police said that eight ammunition were also seized from his possession. The arrested individual is a resident of Beligallegedara, Middeniya.
He is due to be produced before the Walasmulla Magistrates Court today (March 17).
