COLOMBO (News 1st) – Deputy Customs Director Vipula Minuwanpitiya states that a Sri Lankan was arrested at the BIA for attempting to smuggle 04kg of Gold. The 49-year-old smuggler has been identified as a resident of Hulfstdorp, Colombo.

He said that the stock of Gold was brought to the country from Chennai. The value of the Gold is over Rs. 30 million.
