Gold smuggler arrested at the BIA

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Deputy Customs Director Vipula Minuwanpitiya states that a Sri Lankan was arrested at the BIA for attempting to smuggle 04kg of Gold. The 49-year-old smuggler has been identified as a resident of Hulfstdorp, Colombo.
He said that the stock of Gold was brought to the country from Chennai. The value of the Gold is over Rs. 30 million.
Further investigations into the incident are underway
