COLOMBO (News 1st) – President Maithripala Sirisena who is currently in Nairobi, Kenya to attend the fourth session of the UN Environment Assembly met with the Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta last evening (March 14).
The President’s media unit noted that upon meeting his Kenyan counterpart, President Sirisena expressed his willingness to fully commit the country to implement the decisions and resolutions agreed at the fourth session of the UN Environment Assembly.
He has also expressed that diplomatic ties between Kenya and Sri Lanka will be strengthened following this visit.
