School teacher beats grade 5 students

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Seventeen students had been hospitalised following a beating by a school teacher in Kaththankudi.
The police stated that all seventeen students of grade 5 were beaten as they had not completed their homework.
The teacher under suspicion was remanded until the 18th following his appearance before the magistrate court.
